Gary Straw - Director

Gary is a registered Builder, in both residential and commercial building.

He has over 30 years experience in the building industry.

Gary began his career as a carpenter moving quickly into management positions with many of the major building companies in Melbourne.

These positions include Supervisor, Construction Manager, Building Manager and Senior Project Manager.

Gary commits this experience and knowledge to each Project.

 

Before we establish the role of the Project Manager for your project we must first understand our Client.

Our Clients are varied and have varied needs.

We approach each Project by first establishing the needs of the Client and the part and involvement they wish to have in their Project.

 

The participants in a building project are generally –

 

· The Owner

· The Designer

· The Building Surveyor

· The Engineers

· The Consultants

· The Builder

 

Each have important roles to play but are not always focused on the same outcome.

 

Each has commitments which are not always in sync with the commitments of the others.

 

It is the role of the Project Manager to coordinate and manage each and every person and organisation to work in the one direction.
